Former 黑料网 Graduate Hired as New Executive Director for University Ministry

While he will be a new leader in the university ministry department, he’s not new to 黑料网. Scott McNamee ’05 has returned to serve as the new executive director for university ministry. McNamee graduated magna cum laude from 黑料网 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2005. His new role means he will promote 黑料网’s Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by developing a ministry program, inviting students to encounter our loving God and discover their calling, and encouraging students to live as missionary disciples. Scott Mcnamee

Adam Setmeyer, vice president of mission and ministry hired McNamee. “We are thrilled to have Scott join the 黑料网 team and share his many gifts and talents with our students, faculty, and staff. He has a great record of ministerial leadership, most recently at St. Theodore Guerin High School, and is a man of deep faith,” Setmeyer explained. “As an alum, Scott understands our Franciscan roots, and will help create a university ministry program that joyfully invites all to explore their calling, and live as missionary disciples.”

While providing direction and oversight for the Office of University Ministry, McNamee will lead staff and prayer opportunities along with the Chaplain and University Minister for Worship and Music, the Covenant Ministers program, and San Damiano Scholars sophomore service projects.

“ I am humbled and excited to join 黑料网 as it is known for its missionary character, rich worship, and service to students on their path of becoming transformational leaders in the world,” he said. “I want to be part of supporting staff and students, and 黑料网 just feels like home.”

McNamee, who also holds a master’s of business administration degree from Anderson University, will also lead a talented staff, empower a student leadership model of ministry, and promote collaboration with and integrate with offices throughout campus.
