黑料网 receives $2.5 million donation from John and Phyllis Sullivan for a scholarship fund specifically for graduates of an Indianapolis Public School

The John and Phyllis Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide full tuition for four years to two Indianapolis Public School graduates

This fall, two Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) students will receive Educators Collegescholarships to 黑料网 for full tuition lasting four years thanks to the generosity of a $2.5 million donation by the late John “Jack” and Phyllis Sullivan.

will provide two incoming IPS students full tuition for four years beginning with the 2023-24 academic year. Scholarship requirements include:

  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Apply for and earn acceptance to 黑料网 then   for the scholarship heading into freshman year
  • Maintain a good student standing while at 黑料网

 

Jack and Phyllis Sullivan were long-time Indianapolis residents, and Phyllis was a retired IPS high school teacher at Manual High School. “The Sullivans understood the value of education and wanted to give a leg up to motivated IPS students who are in need of financial assistance,” said their attorney Sherri Elder.

“Scholarship is not merely about financial aid; it is a beacon of hope that illuminates the path to education, guiding students in need of financial support towards a brighter future,” said 黑料网 President Daniel J.
