Caito-Wagner Hall

Who can live here: First-year students only

Amenities: Teaching kitchen on the first floor, student lounges on each floor, community bathrooms, lots of space to sit, study, and spend time with friends. Rooms have 2 desks with chairs, 4 small dressers, and height-adjustable beds. 

Room layouts: Double or single occupancy with a community bathroom on each wing

Average room size: Double rooms = 16' x 12'

Incoming students are placed into Caito-Wagner Hall and Doyle Hall through a lottery process to ensure equity in our housing process. Applying early will not give students a higher probability of living in one hall versus the other.

Who can live here: First-year students, sophomores living with first-year students, and some juniors and seniors, pending availability 

Amenities: Large main lobby with two LCD TVs, soft seating, study tables, community kitchen, and pool table

Room layouts: Single, double, or triple occupancy with a community bathroom on each wing

Average room size: Double rooms = 16' 1" x 11' 7" | Single rooms = 8' 5" x 15' 10"

Clare Hall

Who can live here: Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors 

Amenities: Home to the Unity Center and the Dining Commons. Soft seating, study tables, community kitchen, and study room on the second floor only. 

Room layouts: Second floor rooms are suite-style where two double occupancy rooms are connected by a modest shared bathroom or triple rooms with a private bathroom. Third floor rooms are double and triple occupancy with community bathrooms on each side of the floor.

Average room size: Double and triple room = 17' x 13' 

Living/learning communities: Alverna Faith-Discovery Community

Who can live here: Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

Amenities: Lounges on each floor with kitchenette and LCD TVs. Note: there are no refrigerators in the kitchenettes. 

Room layouts: Single or double occupancy suite-style rooms.  One bathroom and living room space shared between two doubles or two singles.  Note: students must bring their own living room furniture, as only bedrooms are furnished.

Average room size: Double = 12' x 15' with 14' x 15' living room | Single = 8' x 14' with 8' x 14' living room

University Hall

Who can live here: Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

Amenities: Kitchens on every floor, LCD TVs in each lounge, computer room. 

Room layouts: Single and double occupancy rooms. Suite-style where two double occupancy rooms or two single occupancy rooms are connected by a large shared bathroom.

Average room size: Double = 16' x 12' | Single =  16' x 8'

Who can live here: Students who are 21 years of age, meet GPA/Involvement criteria, have no outstanding student conduct history, and live in the house for both semesters

Amenities: Vary but generally include two to five bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, living room, dining room, full-kitchen, basement, washer/dryer. Houses are not furnished and students must connect their own internet, if desired.

Room layouts: Vary significantly. Most campus houses are one story with a basement. Some houses have a second story.

The Dorothy Day House for Peace and Justice and the Peter Maurin House for Peace and Justice

Who can live here: Non-first year women (DDH) or men (PMH) who are interested in giving back to their community through educational programming and service. Residents of these houses must live in the house for the full academic year and must enroll in SOC-201 for both semesters. 

DDH Amenities:  Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, full-kitchen, basement, washer/dryer. This house has some basic common area furniture including a couch and dining table. Students must supply their own bedroom furnishings. Internet must be provided by the residents if desired. Up to five students can live in this four-bedroom house.

PMH Amenities: Three bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, dining room, full-kitchen, basement, washer/dryer. This house is completely unfurnished. Residents must provide all furniture they wish to have in the house.  Internet must be provided by the residents if desired. Up to four students can live in this three-bedroom house.

DDH/PMH Application Process: 

  1. Students complete the 2025-26 On-Campus Housing Application on StarRez 
  2. Students submit their name and answers to DDH/PMH application questions via  form before 12pm (noon) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
  3. By the end of the day on Thursday, March 6, 2025, we will send offers to students to live in either the DDH or the PMH via 黑料网 email.
  4. Once all offers are accepted, we will also let students who were not selected for these houses know that they should participate in room selection the last two weeks of March.

Residents of either house do not need to complete the on-campus house application form if only interested in the DDH/PMH. Residents do need to complete the general on-campus housing application.
